David Myers’ practice focuses on all areas of construction law. In addition, he practices commercial law, tort defense, premises liability defense and enforcement of secured and unsecured liabilities. He represents general contractors, specialty subcontractors, materials suppliers, architects and engineers. His clients represent a broad cross-section of construction fields with particular experience and expertise in the glazing, facade and exterior cladding fields.

In his construction law practice, David advises clients on legal issues in all phases of the construction process, including contract drafting, negotiation, performance, payment disputes, project delays and impacts, claims analysis and construction defects on both private and public works projects. His practice involves advocacy on behalf of the firm’s clients outside of, prior to, and during active litigation. David has successfully tried construction cases in courts spanning California. He recently obtained a six-figure judgment in the San Francisco Superior Court in favor of an out-of-state materials supplier while defeating a multi-million-dollar cross-claim for breach and delay. He has also argued on behalf of clients in the First, Second, and Sixth District Courts of Appeal.

David also speaks on best practices for audiences in the construction industry. David received his J.D. from Loyola of Los Angeles Law School and is proud to hold membership in the State Bar of California and the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance. He received his B.A. from University of California, Los Angeles.
