Donahue Fitzgerald Partner, Jonathan Osder, Receives 2017 Client Choice Award

Donahue Fitzgerald is proud to announce that our partner, Jonathan Osder, was awarded a prestigious global 2017 Client Choice Award.

On February 2, 2017, the International Law Office and Lexology named our partner Jonathan Osder as a recipient of the 2017 Client Choice Awards. Jonathan earned top honors for the state of California for intellectual property in the area of copyright law. Congratulations to Jonathan for being selected for the award from a pool of more than 2,000 individual client assessments!

For over a decade the Client Choice Awards have distinguished law firms and partners internationally that excel in providing high quality client service. Nominations are uniquely made by corporate counsel only and corporate clients are asked to rate candidates on client service criteria which include quality of legal advice, industry knowledge, and effective communication. The standards for the awards focus on the ability to add real value to clients’ businesses and beyond other attorneys in the industry.

Jonathan’s area of expertise is in intellectual property law and he is often engaged in cutting edge legal issues that involve copyrights, high technology (including computer, Internet, and new media law), trademarks, domain name disputes, patent enforcement and licensing, unfair competition, rights of publicity, and general civil matters. He counsels diverse clients, including prominent software companies manufacturers, musicians, universities, computer programmers, authors, artists, professors, producers, professional athletes, restaurateurs, photographers, and other entrepreneurs on how to secure, protect, license, transfer, and enforce their proprietary rights.

As a professional negotiator, Jonathan has substantial experience and has demonstrated his expertise through his handling of many multi-million dollar negotiations for which he also drafted complex agreements all the while creating and co-managing IP enforcement programs on behalf of clients such as Autodesk, Inc., UK-based Dyson Technology Limited, Monster, Inc., Denmark-based Sitecore Corporation, the Software & Information Industry Association, and Symantec Corporation.
