This program features some of Oakland and the Bay Area’s most dynamic and visionary entrepreneurs as well as the business accelerators and investors who support and foster these technology start-ups and innovators. The speakers will:
- Evaluate the role incubators, accelerators and co-working spaces are playing in Oakland’s entrepreneurial ecosystem
- Discuss how incubators and accelerators can help make entrepreneurs more innovative and their companies more attractive to investors

Michael Sebree has extensive experience in business and corporate transactions, specifically mergers and acquisitions. In the area of corporate finance, he is experienced with private placements and exempt offerings, as well as venture capital and angel investor financing. With clients from a broad spectrum of industries, he has represented nanotechnology and manufacturing companies in connection with private placements and venture capital financing and a technology company in several rounds of financing up to initial public offering.
