Jesse B. McKeithen is a business attorney whose practice focuses on business and corporate transactions and real estate matters. He also has extensive litigation experience handling complex, high-stakes antitrust lawsuits, investigations, and post-closing M&A disputes. Jesse represents entrepreneurs and businesses from startups and emerging companies to publicly traded companies, across a wide range of sectors, including software and technology, consumer packaged goods, retail, hospitality, and sports. As outside general counsel to various Oakland, regional and multinational clients, Jesse handles a broad range of matters providing business advice regarding:

• Antitrust counsel and disputes
• Real property transactions
• IP licensing agreements

While at Donahue Fitzgerald, and at his former firm Latham & Watkins, Jesse has worked on various antitrust and other complex commercial litigation matters, including:

• Representing a global consumer packaged goods company with affirmative breach of warranty indemnification claims stemming from major strategic acquisition
• Representing the largest independent national wholesaler of aftermarket auto glass in an antitrust lawsuit
• Representing the largest Chinese producer of online content, including television shows and movies, in a  copyright infringement lawsuit
• Representing a national propane company in a FTC investigation and successful defense against multiple class action lawsuits
• Representing a Japanese multinational electronics and computers manufacturer in a successful defense of several multidistrict cases
• Representing an American multinational computer technology company in a successful defense of putative antitrust class action alleging no-poach agreements in the tech industry
• Representing a global airline in a class action defense against allegations of anticompetitive conduct regarding transpacific passenger and cargo routes

Jesse graduated with honors from Princeton University with an A.B. in Public Policy from the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs and received his law degree from the UCLA School of Law.
