“Technotainment” 2025: Distributing Content Across Multiple Platforms
On October 9, 2025, Music and Entertainment and IP Attorney, Natasha Chee, will be on a PLI panel called, “Technotainment” 2025: Distributing Content Across Multiple Platforms. This program will explore the unique and cutting-edge legal issues arising out of the convergence of technology and entertainment.
After completing this program, participants will be able to:
- Understand the evolving relationship and intersection between Technotainment and advocacy that shapes public discourse, disseminates specific viewpoints, and frames legal narratives that redefine our collective understanding of key issues
- Learn about the ethical obligations for managing modern day consumer protection risks
- Identify the different kinds of AI technologies being used in content creation and the arts industry and learn about some of the issues such as copyright infringement that are raised by the growing use of AI in the arts industry
- Discover cutting-edge technologies shaping consumer platforms, including AI-driven personalization, live-stream shopping integrations, augmented reality, and gamified loyalty programs
- Understand the current legal framework in the US and the EU for implementing the sale of virtual currencies and items
- Learn how to negotiate the many variations being presented in today’s audio visual “synch” environment including in network and cable television series, audio-visual streaming services, dramatic versus music- centric shows and video games among other areas
