Navigating CCPA & CPRA Compliance in 2024

Join Employment Law Attorneys, Maureen Duffy and Chris Nepacena, as they speak on navigating the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) and the California Privacy Rights Act (“CPRA”) compliance in 2024.

Since CPRA’s enactment on January 1, 2023, significant changes have reshaped data privacy obligations, notably eliminating HR and B2B exemptions. Government enforcement of the final regulations was scheduled for July 1, 2023; however, the Sacramento County Superior Court postponed enforcement of the new CCPA until March 29, 2024.

Join Maureen Duffy and Chris Nepacena, Donahue Fitzgerald’s Employment Law attorneys, as they provide an overview of the data privacy laws (with a focus on California), practical insights on where companies should focus their efforts and resources, and an update on where the law is today.
