Donahue Fitzgerald LLP is seeking a Corporate Transactional attorney with at least 4+ years of experience with an emphasis on corporate, business, and commercial transactional matters. This position involves working directly with senior partners in managing a broad-based book of transactional work. The work is interesting, fast paced, with an emphasis on client service. The selected candidate will play a key role in the continuing expansion of the firm’s transactional practice and must show an aptitude for business development.
This position will be based from our Oakland or Walnut Creek office.
The ideal candidate is someone with an eye towards growth and the potential for partnership and enjoys interesting and challenging assignments and must possess a good understanding of general corporate and commercial law, have significant experience working on sophisticated M&A and other business transactions for private companies, and understand the need for superior client service and satisfaction as keys to success in this role. Experience with nonprofit law and nonprofit formations, as well as franchise law, would be a plus but is not required.

The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $135,000 – $160,000. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors including, but not limited to years of relevant experience and job knowledge required for this role. Additional compensation includes hours based and origination bonuses. The annual minimum billable hours requirement for this position is 1,610.
