Spotting Employment Issues for the Non-Employment Attorney
Employment issues cross over into many areas of legal practice and business industries. This program is designed to assist attorneys to understand and identify potential wage and hour and employment issues for their clients. We will provide a brief overview of the most common employment issues that are encountered by attorneys in practice areas such as business and corporate, commercial litigation, franchise, immigration, and intellectual property. We will also address employment issues by industry, such as in real estate, construction, and music and entertainment. The panel will consist of both plaintiff and defense attorneys, to provide perspective from both employee and management sides.
