Lorin B. Bender joined the firm as an associate in 2009. She specializes in estate planning, trust administration, trust and estate litigation and civil litigation. She also represents personal representatives throughout the probate process. Before joining Donahue Fitzgerald, Lorin was an associate at Stein, Rudser, Cohen & Magid LLP.
Lorin has served as second chair on real estate litigation and trust litigation bench trials and appeals. She also manages and handles all aspects of litigation, including pretrial discovery and settlement conferences and has extensive experience with law and motion practice, including arguing dispositive motions.
Lorin earned her law degree order of coif and cum laude in 2004 from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. During law school, she was an Articles Editor of the Loyola Law Review. She also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Morris B. Jones of the Los Angeles County Superior Court. Lorin earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley.
Lorin is a member of the State Bar and the Alameda County Bar Association. She is also admitted to practice before all courts in the State of California and the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
