On December 1, 2017, Billboard published an article by Robert Levine on the Ferrick v. Spotify class action lawsuit, mentioning attorney Daniel Schacht, who represented Wixen Music Publishing and “some of the biggest songwriters in the music business” in seeking to opt out of the settlement.
